Moving every three or four years across the country and Europe as a son to an
enlisted nurse in the US Army has brought Ben a multitude of
perspectives, ideals and interests.
His films have been official
selections in over 40 film festivals worldwide, garnering many
prizes, including SXSW’s Special Jury Prize.
His stories vary
from complicated adult dramas to whimsical children’s adventures,
yet all stem from common themes of identity, acceptance and
the nature of being human.
